About Me

Hi everyone! I'm Missy, a stay-at-home-mom from Upstate, NY. That's just the beginning of my story.

I grew up as the baby of the family, the only girl, spoiled by my parents, my grandparents and the world's best brothers. I was a dancer since the age  of three and a cheerleader since the fifth grade.

I attended SUNY Cobleskill and earned my AAS in Early Childhood Teacher Education. I was a part of the Orange Key Society and Phi Theta Kappa, a national honor society. I graduated with my BS in Child Life Psychology, Child Development from Utica College of Syracuse University. During my time at UC I founded and coached the Utica College Dance Team and I was a sister of Chi Beta Sigma Sorority.

After college, I taught preschool for five years.
In February 2012, I married Tim, the love of my life.

We had our son, Timothy in October 2013.

We had our daughter, Kaiya in March 2015.

Being a stay-at-home-mom has always been a dream of mine. I didn't want to miss a milestone or miss a moment of my babies growing up. Subscribe to my blog and never miss a Mommy Moment! Submit questions to the Ask Missy page if you have any questions about parenting, pregnancy, early childhood education, or crafts for kids!

Disclaimer: Everything I post is my own opinion. I am not an expert, I am just educated in Early Childhood and Child Development. I do not claim that my opinions are the best resolution for you, but to give you an idea of my thoughts on raising a family. Every parent finds what works best for them!
