MRI Day | Tim and Missy
Timmy had his MRI to diagnose his Venous Malformation (not verified yet, but that's what I'm calling it). He was such a trooper and was SO strong throughout the process. I cannot say enough good things about Golisano Children's Hospital. From the nurses to the anesthesiologist and especially the child life specialist, it was a seamless experience. Everyone took so much stress off of us and we were actually able to relax, knowing that he was in good hands. On to the next step! Figure out what this lump is on his cheek and get it taken care of!

February Favorites!
The month of February brought many new adventures... mainly the adventure of potty training! And the adventures of Big Teddy Yandow, the newest member of our family.
The first of my favorite items from February is this munchkin potty seat.
Why I like it: I'm not a fan of stand-alone potty's for kids. In my opinion, they're one extra step to teaching kids to use the toilet and they're unnecessary. I understand that they're sized appropriately for young children, but that's what step stools are for :) This Munchkin potty seat goes on and off the toilet easily, Timmy can do it himself, and it's easy to clean.
My next favorite item is this faucet extender.
Why I like it: Self explanatory. This item attaches easily to any faucet and extends the water to make an easy reach for any toddler. Timmy feels so independent when he can wash his hands by himself.
Third on my list this month are these Hyland's Teething Tablets.
Why I like it:These quickly dissolving tablets are great for a teething baby. They're homeopathic and quickly soothe a fussy baby. I used these for Timmy and now I'm using them for Kaiya. In my experience with teething tablets, they help calm the baby quickly and both Timmy and Kaiya have had less fussy nights while teething when we have used these.
Now let me introduce Big Teddy Yandow....
Brought to you by Uncle Brian, all the way from Shanghai... delivered in a vacuum sealed bag. Watch us unbox it here >
This 6ft tall bear has been so much fun for the kids... and for Tim and I. It's been fun to humanize him and sit him at the table like a member of the family and to make him dance like Miley Cyrus. Big Teddy Yandow is going to be a family favorite for YEARS to come!
